“When I signed up for Steven’s Cooperative Learning and Student Engagement classes, I felt that I knew a lot about both. And yet, with these classes, one is able to experience real Cooperation and Engagement, from a student’s perspective, under the leadership of one with true expertise in ‘meshing’ content with the invaluable social skills needed today! ”
April Sabolay – Central Jr. High
“It is so refreshing to take courses where the professor is modeling the pedagogy that is being taught. Steven is knowledgeable, highly experienced, and creates a comfortable environment that promotes a lot of collaboration, creativity, and idea-sharing. There are so many applicable strategies, for all learners, that it’s hard to describe! Steven’s classes should be a prerequisite for all educators. They are by far the most beneficial and interesting classes I’ve ever taken.
(And I’ve taken a lot!)
I only wish I had known about them sooner!!”
Rachel Gasawski - Wydown Middle School
“Steven’s classes are not what you’d expect from a graduate course, and I have been so happy with the outcome. They are engaging, fast-paced, collaborative, and Valuable. Everything we did had value and meaning!.”
Chelsea Hummert - Freeburg Elementary
“I've had many bad experiences with graduate courses in the past 35 years that I've been teaching. Most of them were boring and not practical at all. But that has definitely NOT been the case with this course! I learned a great deal and it has definitely not been boring! Steven was focused (as he should be) on making the course PRACTICAL! He asked us what we wanted to get out of the course and then provided it. It has been the most useful graduate course I’ve ever taken, and I have a Master’s plus 24!
Thank you, Steven!”
