Mind and Body are Linked

The body and the mind are inextricably connected. They can’t be separated. Their influence on one another can’t be ignored, denied, or turned off. They are 2 sides of the same coin. If the coin gets flipped, both sides spin.

When the body exercises, it tells the brain to release dopamine and endorphins that make the mind feel happy.

When the brain feels fear, it changes the body physically by increasing blood pressure, heart rate, breathing, and blood flow to the limbs, making it easier to run or punch. It also releases cortisol and adrenaline, directing the body into high alert - fight or flight.

SIMPLE THINGS (proven true) 1. Smiling improves mood. 2. Gratitude and Humor strengthen immunity 3. Moods are contagious. Be aware of your surroundings - avoid negative people. They have a problem for every solution. 4. Laughter feels like connection. “The shortest distance between 2 people is laughter.”

Mind & Body are linked. Changing one, changes the other.
