Being Quotable!

Speak less, yet Say more.

Our minds are drowning in headlines & data— while dehydrated of meaning.

Think more differenter.

It engages. And sticks.

But how?

Use intrigue— with a whiff of mystery.

Use an ounce of wonder and a glimpse of awe.

Be Quotable. And Use quotes.

Quotes leave gaps the brain can’t resist filling.

“Hmmm . . . Why do we remember great quotes?”  - They are Important.

“To whom?”  - The Reader.

Just say Important Stuff, and Eliminate the Fluff.

Example:

"You cannot push someone up a ladder, who is unwilling to climb." - Andrew Carnegie

That’s immediately clear and important to teachers.

It engages our brain and we can’t resist filling those gaps.

But ‘too many words’ is the disease of teaching and learning.

It overwhelms and disengages student minds.

"True genius can make the complex seem simple." - Einstein

So . . . let’s cut back on “Data Dumping”.

Be Quotable.

Speak less yet Say more.

Make every word count.

Your students will love it.

I wish you well, my friend!
