Teaching is Fishing Not Pouring Concrete

Concrete Mindset…

  1. Pour fast. Faster. Keep pouring.

  2. Push and push and force into place.

  3. Faster—time is short.

  4. Rush to smooth (finish) the surface. Time’s up. Appearances matter most.

  5. If it fails (cracks) pour more and faster next time.

If I only have a hammer,

every job looks like a nail.

If I only know concrete,

I won’t catch fish.

Fishing Mindset

  1. Go where they are.

  2. Know their Instincts and how their brains work.

  3. Know the right Bait to trigger their instincts.

  4. Create Irresistible Curiosity—they’ll follow, then swallow on instinct.

  5. Use a strong Hook. If not, they’re gone.

  6. Reel in with Finesse. Too much too fast—they’re gone.

Teaching is Fishing.
